How do I start playing music?
Tap the play button in the center of the screen. Particls will immediately start generating ambient music. Tap again to stop.
Can I use it while my phone screen is off?
Yes. Particls continues playing in the background even when the screen is locked, just like a music app.
What does the dice button do?
It randomizes everything — mood, voices, effects, and layers — with a smooth crossfade. Great for discovering unexpected combinations.
How do I switch between visual modes?
Swipe left or right anywhere on the screen, or tap the icons at the bottom of the UI.
How do I enter fullscreen / immersive mode?
Tap the expand icon (top left). To exit, tap anywhere on the screen.
What is AIR?
AIR adds a continuous noise texture (Breeze, Mist, or Earth) underneath the music — similar to white noise but more organic.
What is NATURE?
NATURE adds synthesized environmental sounds: Rain, Ocean waves, or Wind. These are generated in real time, not recordings.
Does the music ever repeat?
No. Particls generates every note in real time using synthesis. Every session is unique and non-repeating by design.
Particls does not collect any personal data, does not require an account, and does not connect to the internet.
